Ferrosynthesis is the product of intelligent design and natural selection. Natural selection comes first in that Iron is the most stable of all atomic nuclei and that's why there is so much of it in the universe. Then intelligent people use this most useful material to design myriad things that are in fact beautiful, if by accident. Natural selection comes in again as they corrode and fall into my hands. My further intelligent (?) design and the application of heat enables these cast off elements to assume their destiny for as long as natural selection will allow.
